Laser Hair Removal Consultation

(Dallas Location Only)

The laser Hair Removal Consultation is a must when wanting to participate in a laser hair removal series. This in depth consultation will go over client history, as well as lifestyle and hair removal goals. After reviewing the process and addressing any concerns clients may have, a treatment plan will be made specifically for them. The objective is to educate clients on what laser hair removal is, the process, and the commitment about to be made.

Laser Hair Removal Series

(Dallas Location Only)

A medical procedure that uses a concentrated beam of light (laser) to remove unwanted hair. Unlike other hair removal lasers, our laser treatments do not target melanin, making it safe for all skin types, even dark skin tones. Its long wavelength mean fewer pulses of energy are needed, making the laser treatments shorter and more comfortable than other hair removal methods. Great for treating unwanted hair all over the body, due to it covering larger areas all at once. This quick and precise treatment is great for those who are looking for more of a long term solution.

Here at Lenox Skincare, we offer laser hair removal to all clients dealing with unwanted facial or underarm hair who want a long term solution.

Is laser hair removal safe for darker skin tones?
Absolutely! Here at Lenox Skincare, we use the 1064 YAG Laser. This specific technology has advanced over the years in order to make it safe for even the darkest of skin tones.
Can I still receive my corrective skincare treatments?
Yes, you can continue or start your corrective skincare treatments 2 weeks after the laser treatment.
Where can I get laser hair removal done?
It's possible to treat unwanted hair in nearly any area, except the eyelid or surrounding area. Skin with tattoos should not be treated either.
When will I see the results after having laser hair removal?
You will likely see the results immediately after treatment. The results vary from client to client. The color and thickness of your hair, area treated, type of laser used, and color of your skin all affect the results. You can expect a 10% to 25% reduction in hair after the first treatment. To remove all the hair, most clients need 2 to 6 laser treatments. After finishing the treatments, most clients do not see any hair on the treated skin for several months or even years. When the hair regrows, there tends to be less of it. The hairs also tend to be finer and lighter in color.
Is there downtime?
No, laser hair removal generally does not require any real downtime. Immediately after having laser hair removal, your treated skin will be red and swollen. Despite this, most people return to their everyday activities.
Is laser hair removal permanent?
Laser hair removal provides long-lasting results. Following a single treatment, most hairs do not regrow for one to three months (or more), depending on the type of hair and its location. Laser hair removal does not guarantee permanent removal. Multiple laser hair removal treatments are needed for initial hair removal, and maintenance treatments might be needed as well.
How does laser hair removal work?
Laser hair removal is the process of hair removal by means of exposure to pulses of laser light that destroy the hair follicle.
Does laser hair removal hurt?
This laser is a cooling laser so there is little to no discomfort, and typically causes much less discomfort than other forms of hair removal, especially waxing. Many individuals describe laser hair removal feeling like a rubber band is snapping against their skin. The feeling is only temporary.
What happens during the hair removal treatment?
Before the treatment, the area to be treated will be cleansed. It takes about 30 to 60 minutes for a numbing gel to work. Everyone in the room will be wearing protective eyewear during the procedure. During the procedure, the skin is held taut and the skin is treated with the laser.
